1. Operations Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for all back-office functions at Co-op Trust Investment Services and will be the Chief Advisor on operational-efficiency and risk management issues.
Main Duties:
• Design and continuously improve the Operating Systems of the company for various products and services.
• Direct the operations of the Company including serving as an interface between the portfolio management team and various service providers.
• Monitor company-wide compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies to manage operational risk
Expected Skills/Attributes:
• Strong Accounting and Finance background.
• In-depth knowledge of ICT applications in Investment Management with working knowledge of at least one investment management software.
• Proven planning and project management skills with high attention to detail.
• In-depth knowledge of investment products and services.
• Age- 35 years and below.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in a business related discipline.
• SII Diploma, CISI Diploma or any similar qualification will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years exposure in pension fund operations gained ideally with a reputable Scheme Administrator, Custodian, Fund Manager.
• Hands on experience in the compilation of quarterly investment reports and regulatory returns for both CMA and RBA.
2. Portfolio Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting new investment clients and for managing investment portfolios to generate superior risk-adjusted returns.
Main Duties:
• Recruit new clients to grow funds under management.
• Formulate investment strategy based on client circumstances and capital markets expectations.
• Proactively identify new investment opportunities and bring them to the attention of Research Department for analysis.
• Provide world-class client relationship management to the satisfaction of clients.
Expected Skills/Attributes:
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact freely at all levels.
• Sound understanding of financial modelling techniques and skilled in in-depth business analysis and economic forecasting.
• A proven and demonstrable track record of performance in the investments management area.
• Working knowledge of any investment Management Software.
• Age- 35 years and below.
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree or higher in a business-related discipline.
• Additional professional qualifications particularly CFA, CPA, ACCA, or CIMA will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years experience in an investment-related financial services environment.
• In addition, should have proven success in effectively pursuing and closing new business in a financial services company.
